This is our first Marylin Monroe, and we really are so afraid to get near to such an incredible mith of the 20th century, we really love this actress and hope to have made a great homage to her.
This is inspired to the original sketch of Travilla anout the dress for the movie "River of no return" and we went inside the details.
A completly lined red dress, with a red fabric COMPLETLY HAND BEADED with hundreds of the tiniest sequins in black. THIS IS NOT A PREPARED FABRIC! ( see the preparing act in the pics)
We really tried to reproduce the high fashion quality of the incredible and sexy dress of that movie. A long drapped train in black satin. black feather boa for the headpiece.
A special detail is the hairstyle, it was not easy to find the right color to match for the long curled extesion ponytail, and we thank one of the most important italian wig artist Odello, for his collaboration.
