That Magic Moment…
Inspired to the 2016 Barbie convention’s theme Pop Art, we teamed up with fashion doll blogger, Rogier Corbeau, for this incredible set.
What whole it be to be in the studio of Andy Wahrol when he created the iconic Barbie painting?
This is the concept we had in mind to create this special set, with a soak Andy Wahrol male doll we created with a full reroot and face repaint, custom clothes. On the custom stairs, here we find the icon , we face painted over a Mackie face Superstar face doll, with pivotal body. She wears a white taffeta corset with black stripes with real Swarovski crystals in resemblance of the iconic #1 Barbie and has a wide gown with several layers of Marilyn Monroe printed fabric. The set is manually created by Rogier Corbeau.
This set has been auctioned for charity at the Silent auction.
